The clash between West Indies (WI) and World XI (WXI) saw a strange way of following the game for live commentary. Former England cricketer and current renowned commentator Naseer Hussain was on the field, in the match, commentating mid match.
He had a close look at the match from behind the fielders standing at slip cordon. It was something never seen before and took no time to go viral on social media.
The exhibition match was held to raise funds for the cricket stadium in the Carribean damaged by hurricanes. The match was given international status and Twitteratis criticized ICC for it.
This is a full international, but apparently the West Indies playing the Netherlands in the World Cup Qualifiers was not https://t.co/ATSoJ8832N

Talking about the game, WI defeated WXI by a huge margin of 72 runs. They restricted Shahid Afridi-led side on just 127 runs after putting up a target of 200 runs in 20 overs.
The only batsman to show some fight from WXI side was Thisara Perera by scoring 61 runs. The man of the match awardee was Evin Lewis for his 58 runs.

Nasser Hussain, on commentary, at first slip for the opening over. This is why these games - wonderful as they are - should never have international status. #WIvRoW pic.twitter.com/T3caRzOEEA

The background to Roving Nas is that Sky are distributing their feed for free, which is great of them. With it, they wanted to try something new. As for international status, it was given to ensure the game itself was taken seriously. To be fair, the first innings was. #WIvRoW
