WATCH: Virat Kohli challenges India's PM Narendra Modi for #HumFitTohIndiaFit intiative

The Indian cricket team skipper Virat was challenged by India's sports minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore.

The fitness report of India had made Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli unhappy. Virat is someone who gives a lot of importance to fitness. He has been very vocal about how vital fitness is. Recently, Kohli was challenged by sports minister Rajvardhan Singh Rathore for #HumFitTohIndiaFit campaign.

The ace cricketer accepted the challenge and shared the video while challenging Prime Minister Narendra Modi, star cricketer MS Dhoni, and his wife Anushka Sharma, in his tweet.

In the video, Virat was seen doing 20 spider planks. “I have accepted the #FitnessChallenge by Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore sir. Now I would like to challenge my wife @AnushkaSharma, our PM @narendramodi ji and @msdhoni bhai for the same. #HumFitTohIndiaFit #ComeOutAndPlay,” Virat tweeted.

PM Modi, who himself spreads awareness about fitness accepted the challenge of Virat. However, he will be sharing the video soon.

Not only Virat, Saina Nehwal thanked Rathore for the challenge and posted a video of her lifting a barbell, passing on the challenge to fellow shuttler PV Sindhu, film star Rana Daggubati and cricketer Gautam Gambhir.

Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, who sets fitness goals, is also part of the initiative. Several ministers have also joined the campaign and that impressed the Indian tennis star, Sania Mirza. She tweeted, "When was the last time we saw a Minister do this??? Coolest leading by example .. congratulations on this #FitnessChallenge Sir.. here's to a brighter and healthier India .."
