Apart from being super fit and a remarkable batsman, many forget that Virat Kohli is one of the best fielders in the world in any position. He exhibited an atheltic piece of fielding against the Mumbai Indians on Tuesday night at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Virat plucked a stunner while fielding at the long-on region to get rid of Hardik Pandya in the final over of MI innings. Pandya hadn’t timed his stroke to perfection, but Kohli anticipated the catch brilliantly as he ran from long-on, put in the dive to snaffle it.

Defending a par score of 167 on a sluggish surface, the bowling finally came good for RCB. Led by Tim Southee, the bowlers stuck to their plans and conceded just 20 runs in the last three overs to restrict MI to 153/7. It was RCB’s third victory in this year’s IPL in 8 matches and now they have moved up to the fifth spot in the points table.
