Ex-India cricketer Mohammad Kaif had once revealed on Twitter that the former England skipper Nasser Hussain had called him a "bus driver" during the 2002 Natwest Series final at Lords.
Kaif disclosed that England cricketers sledged him during the historic run chase where he scored a match-winning 87. He said, "Yes, Nasser Hussain actually called me a bus driver :) was good to take them for a ride!"
That victory against England is still fresh in the memory of Indian fans. India had chased 326 after recovering from 146/5 with Yuvraj Singh and Kaif steering India home with a brilliant 121-run partnership. Kaif remained unbeaten on 87 as India chased down the total with just three balls to spare.
The hero of 2002 Natwest series final once again took a subtle dig at the veteran cricketer, who is India for Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018.
He shared a picture with Hussain and wrote, "Together again #busdriver #natwest :) #greatbrain."
Going by the comments on his Instagram post, only few seem to get the dig. But those who managed to pick it had a good laugh about it.
