Australian cricketing team has become a laughing stock, thanks to the ball tampering saga or sandpapergate. They tried to cheat in a gentlemen's game and that has made everyone stand against them.

After social media jokes and memes, a New Zealand e-auction website has taken a jibe at the Australian cricketers. They have put up a piece of sandpaper describing it as "perfect for cheating" on their website.

Funnily, there are 2 bids placed on the strip as well. The website asks users to "Get in quick before Steve Smith buys it all up!".

The description read, "Perfect for cheating in every form of the game this Australian sports tape will get the ball swinging in everything from BYC to Test matches."

Captain Steve Smith and Cameron Bancroft's had admitted of tampering the ball in the third Test against South Africa on Saturday. The two have been sanctioned by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

ICC fined Smith 100% of his match fees and handed him a one-match ban. Even Bancroft received a 75% fine of his match fee and three demerits points.

Smith has been removed as captain by Rajasthan Royals, who named Ajinkya Rahane as his replacement for the upcoming IPL 2018.
