Former Pakistan great, Waqar Younis was shocked with the incident happened in Cape Town Test between Australia and South Africa. Australian cricketer Cameron Bancroft was caught on camera trying to tamper with the cricket ball ot gain an unfair advantage to his team.
He pulled out a tape from his pocket and was caught rubbing it on the ball on day three of the third Test on Saturday.
The scandal ignited an outrage on social media and former cricketers criticized both, Bancroft and Australian skipper Steve Smith, who later admitted he was aware of it.
Waqar asked to investigate for previous Australian matches too, as he doubts they might have done this before. "Don’t tell me this is happening for the first time,,,,is it ?????? We might have to dig out some old footage ????," Waqar wrote.

However, Twitter targetted Waqar Younis and replied with pictures of ball tampering incident of Waqar against Sri Lanka in 2000.
18 years ago, Younis had become the first player to be suspended for ball-tampering when match referee John Reid banned him from playing against Sri Lanka in the middle of the triangular series that also involved South Africa.
Here is how Twitteratis made a tough day for Waqar on social media:
