Indian batting superstar Rohit Sharma is all for noble causes like wildlife conservation and water conservation.
On World Water Day, Rohit Sharma urged his fans on social media to save water and respect the water that is available to us. He shared his experience of being in Cape Town in January with team India and saw the city fighting to save water.
He tweeted, "I was in Cape Town just a few months ago and could clearly see that the water we take for granted isn’t infinitely available. Let’s all respect the importance of water and understand how we can conserve it and make a difference #WorldWaterDay."

One to always lend support to wildlife conservation, Rohit Sharma had also shared his sadness over the death of Sudan, the last male white rhino.
He posted the snap of himself with Sudan and captioned it, "The last Male has fallen #WeDidThis the last Northern White African male rhino marks the certain extinction of this incredible species. Rest in peace Sudan, you deserved so much better. On behalf of all mankind, I’m sorry #WeDidThis ???? #SudanForever."
