England didn’t have a very good start to their first ever day-night Test against New Zealand at the Eden Park in Auckland.

New Zealand asked England to bat first on a green pitch and thanks to Trent Boult’s 6 wicket haul and Tim Southee’s four wickets, demolished England to 27/9. Craig Overton scored the highest of 33 and Mark Stoneman was the only other batsman to reach the double figures, as England finally folded for a total of 58.

Former England captain and one of the highest run getters for England in Tests, Kevin Pietersen definitely saw the England innings. Pietersen announced his retirement from cricket after playing in PSL 2018. Pietersen had a bitter parting from England cricket, as he was blamed for England’s disastrous 2014 Ashes tour down under and was ousted from the team forever.

Pietersen saw the England batting against New Zealand and tweeted with a tongue-in-cheek remark of “Jeez, #BringBackKP.”
