Former Australia pace bowler Mitchell Johnson got injured during a gym session.
According to the reports in dailymail.co.uk and pictures shared by the speedster on his Instagram account, he suffered injury after a clash with a chin-up bar. Johnson required 16 stitches in his scalp after colliding with the bar, leaving him with an unpleasant cut.
A series of four photos posted to Johnson’s Instagram page showed the deep cut, him lying on a bed receiving treatment and the stitches. “If you don’t like blood and cuts then don’t look through these pics! Not the best thing I’ve ever done to myself but I’m am [sic] fine #toohardtoexplain #dontfightchinupbar #stilldontknowhowitspossible," he wrote.
Johnson is set to play for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the upcoming IPL edition. He had a poor Big Bash League 2018, as the 36-year-old could manage only one wicket in the seven matches that he played.
