Cricket fans witnessed the Sehwag-Akhtar rivalry once again after India's power hitter and Pakistan's speedster clashed in the ice cricket tournament in St. Moritz, Switzerland with the beautiful and magnificent Swiss Alps in the background.

The concept of playing ‘Cricket on Ice’ was derived back in 1988, but this was the first time when cricketing legends played it.

Apart from Sehwag and Akhtar, Other cricketing veterans like Mohammad Kaif, Mahela Jayawardene, Lasith Malinga, Joginder Sharma, Graeme Smith, Jacques Kallis, Daniel Vettori, Nathan McCullum, Grant Elliot, Ramesh Powar and Owais Shah were also present there.

It was a neck-to-neck battle between Sehwag and Akhtar as the former got dismissed by the latter in the first match. But in the second game, he thrashed Akhtar for 35 runs out of his 46 runs innings.

Sehwag also enjoyed the rivalry, like cricket fans did. He shared a post on his Instagram account related to the fiery battle between both cricketers. He wrote a dialogue from movie Mohabbatein as the caption, "Parampara , Pratishtha , Anushasan ! #icecricket".
