Shahid Afridi won hearts of Indian cricket fans on social media after his picture with Indian fans holding tri-color started circulating.
The Pakistani all-rounder was in Switzerland for ice cricket tournament when he clicked the picture with Indian fans. In the 2-match contest, his team won both the matches of the Ice Cricket Challenge at Lake St Moritz.
The incident happend when Afridi was clicking pictures with the fans present there. He didn't disappoint the Indian fans and shared the frame with them too. He agreed to click pictures with them after a girl who along with others approached Afridi.
The former Pakistan cricketer obliged her request immediately. However, when he realised that the girl was holding folded Indian flag, he asked her to open it and hold it in a dignified manner before getting a picture clicked with her.
The video, which shows Afridi showing respect to Indian flag, has gone viral on social media.

The veteran cricketers like Ramesh Powar, Joginder Sharma, Mohammad Kaif, Owais Shah, Shoaib Akhtar and others were present at the frozen lake of St Moritz for the ice cricket.
It was a series of two Twenty20 matches between teams led by the two most famous cricketers from India and Pakistan; Virender Sehwag’s Palace Diamonds vs Shahid Afridi’s Royals.
