Today, India celebrates its 69th Republic Day on 26 January 2018 and it is celebrated with much fun and fair across the country.
Republic Day honors the date on which the Constitution of India came into effect on 26 January 1950 replacing the Government of India Act (1935) as the governing document of India. PM Modi invited the heads of the 10 ASEAN nations as the chief guest.
The celebrations in New Delhi, India’s capital were marked with tableaus from many states of India and featured other attractions that displayed the glory of India as a nation.
Cricketers took to Twitter in order to wish everyone a very happy republic day.
We all sacrifice so much in our lives to get where we aspire to be, but our country was built over people who sacrificed their lives for where they believed our country should be. We stand united today, thanks to those selfless souls . Happy republic day India.????????
