Sharjah Cricket Stadium in the UAE saw another thrilling cricket match between arch rivals India and Pakistan yesterday. However, this time the heroes were not Virat Kohli or Shoaib Malik; the heroes were the Indian Blind cricket team, who defeated Pakistan in the finals for the second year running to win the match and the championship.

The Pakistani blind team set up a huge target of 308 runs for the Indian blind team to chase in 40 overs. India started their chase by cracking 111/1 in 15 overs, but lost two wickets in quick time to slip to 116/3 in 16th over.

However, Sunil Ramesh scored a brilliant 93 to anchor the innings and along with captain Ajay Reddy (62), took India to the win by 2 wickets in the penultimate over of the match.

The cricket fraternity was ecstatic after the momentous win by the Indian blind cricket team and shared their good wishes on Twitter.
