New Zealand took a 2-0 lead in the ODI series against Pakistan after securing a win in the second ODI too.

Before suffering an 8-wicket loss, Pakistan had put up a score of 246 in their 50 over quota. Their innings was filled with mini collapses at every stage of the game. The partnership for the eighth wicket gave them some hope.

After a two-hour delay, Kiwi's target was revised from 247 to 151 in 25 overs. Thanks to Martin Guptill's 86* they reached the target in just 23.5 overs. Ross Taylor provided the suitable support with his 44 runs.

There was a moment in Pakistan's innings when spectators and commentators were left laughing. The incident happened in 5th ball of 48th over. Shadab Khan tried to dig out Trent Boult's low full toss and played it on the mid-off. Kane Williamson was guarding the region and he cut the ball off and tried to throw the ball back in but ended up throwing the ball to cover.

This gave commentators few chuckles in the commentary box.
