Yuzvendra Chahal gets teased by RCB teammates over his workout post

Chahal was not retained by RCB in the pre-auction retention.

Yuzvendra Chahal and Chris Gayle

Yuzvendra Chahal may stop sharing his gym clicks or videos on social media after what happened to him recently. The Indian leggie was fenced by his IPL teammates and Indian fielding coach on Instagram for fun.

Chahal often posts his workout pictures and videos. He did it again without expecting the consequences. Royal Challengers Bangalore player Tabraiz Shamsi and Chris Gayle pulled his leg, while R Sridhar unveiled his sarcastic side in the comment section.

Chahal shared the video and wrote, "Make each day count. Get better everyday #newyear #newgoals" on the Instagram. This seems to be one of his new year's resolution.

A post shared by Yuzvendra Chahal (@yuzi_chahal23) on

Shamsi seeing the opportunity, 'O my gosh is this @yuzi_chahal23 or @chrisgayle333??"

To which Chahal responded that he lifts much heavier than Gayle. "I lift heavier than @chrisgayle333 this is my warmup set @shamsi90".

Two mentions were enough to get the big guy into the comment section. Reading Chahal's video and reply he wrote, "WTF. Kill me."

While these comments were expected. Sridhar surprised everyone with his comment. No one would have seen it coming. He took a dig at Chahal and wrote, "The dumbbells seem too light for your strength!! Add a few kgs mate.."

Not the first time Chahal has got into the unpleasant zone. Yuvraj Singh had asked him “which one is heavier? the ball or him?” after his best bowling figures in T20 series against England in 2016.
