Nathan Lyon takes a screamer to dismiss Stoneman

Australian off-spinner Nathan Lyon has been terrific with the ball since the Ashes opener Test. He has taken 5 wickets in Brisbane Test, 6 wickets in Adelaide Oval Test and 3 wickets in Perth Test against England in the ongoing Ashes series 2017-18 at home.

With the help of brilliant bowling attack, Steve Smith-led Australian side retained their Ashes title by defeating the touring side in the Perth Test and taking a 3-0 lead in the Ashes series.

So far in the Ashes, Lyon not only made headlines for his effort with the ball, but also his wonderful and atheletic catches that stunned the cricket fraternity and England batsmen as well.

Lyon took another spectacular one-handed return catch to remove England opener Mark Stoneman (15) on second session of the Day 2 of the fourth Ashes Test in Melbourne.

The Australian side declared their first innings with 327 at the MCG, while England started their innings brilliantly as they have hammered 192 with the help of Alastair Cook’s 104 with 8 wickets at their bank.

The 30-year-old Aussie bowled the third ball of the 11th over, inviting Stoneman to hit the ball, but the English opener managed to lob the ball and got a leading edge and Lyon pulled off another a screamer by sticking his right hand out to grasp the catch and dismiss Mark Stoneman during the second session at the MCG.
