Rohit Sharma recently appeared on the famous talk show 'Breakfast with Champions' hosted by Gaurav Kapur. We have seen many famous cricketers on the show earlier. From Indian skipper Virat Kohli to recently retired pacer Ashish Nehra, all have graced the show.

Fans were waiting for Rohit's episode to be uploaded as soon as possible, especially after his recent stunning performance. The stand-in skipper Rohit slammed the joint fastest century in the T20Is off just 35 balls and went on to score 118 off 43 deliveries. He also scored his third double ton in recently concluded ODI series against Sri Lanka.

Rohit Sharma during the show shared the incident when breaking glass in gully cricket almost landed him behind the bars. A complaint has been registered against the Indian stalwart cricketer.

“My family always liked cricket. In a day, if not for all the 24 hours, at least 16 hours we used to watch cricket. All my chachas (uncles) and buas (aunts) have played cricket, not at the highest level but in school and college. Of course (my uncles got involved in my game). When I used to play in our building, my chacha used to watch me from top, checking my batting. I have broken a lot of window glasses. There was a police complaint against me for breaking glasses,” he said.

The police warned him to not repeat it again, or things could get worse for him. "Once police came and threatened with putting me in jail if repeated. All the neighbors were troubled by us daily (breaking glasses). We were three to four of us who played cricket always. Later we used to go to grounds and play but we never completely let go of playing in our building. We never gave up on that,” the stand-in captain added.
