Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma tied the knot on December 11 in Tuscany, Italy in a private ceremony. Only friends and family were present during the ceremony and pictures from the various ceremonies were shared on social media.
The newlywed couple recently met Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi in order to present him with an invitation for the reception. PM Modi’s official PMO Twitter account shared the picture of the newlyweds with PM Modi.
Now Virat and Anushka have planned a big reception in Delhi on December21, with another reception in Mumbai on December 26.

It is still unclear if PM Modi will attend either of the reception.
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma made the wedding announcement on their Twitter accounts with an identical message: "Today we have promised each other to be bound in love forever. We are truly blessed to share the news with you. This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans & well wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey."
They also shared an image from their honeymoon.
The couple will fly to South Africa to bring in the new year, as Virat prepares to lead Team India against South Africa.
