A political party MLA Panna Lal Shakya's comment on Virat Kohli's wedding put him in trolling zone on Twitter. His statement was both offensive and hilarious to the trolls on the social media platform.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma got married at a private ceremony in Tuscany, Italy, on 11th December.

Shakya questioned the patriotism of Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli for preferring Italy over India, as the venue to get married to Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma.

While inaugurating a 'Skill India Centre', the legislator from Guna, Panna Lal Shakya, told a gathering: "Virat earned money in India... But he didn't find any place to marry in the country. Is Hindustan untouchable?"

He went on to add, "Lord Rama, Lord Krishna, Vikramaditya, Yudhishthir got married on this land. You all must have got married here. None of us goes to a foreign country to get married ... (Kohli) earned money here and spent billions there (Italy)... (he) doesn't have any respect for the country. This proves he is not a patriot."

Shakya also thinks Virat's wedding in India could have attracted tourists.

The Twitterati were not amused with his comments and did what they do the best, criticized and made fun of his statement.
