Indian cricket team has performed very well under the guidance of head coach Ravi Shastri. He is also happy with India's performance. Recently, India's head coach was seen answering the first thing comes to his mind when he hears his players name.

From Rohit Sharma to Ishant Sharma, Shastri answered all in his interview with CNN-IBN News 18.

When he was asked about Cheteshwar Pujara, Shastri said he is someone who meditates on the crease. We completely agree with Shastri here. When Pujara bats things around him looks calm and silent.

Ravi also revealed the nickname of Indian pacer Umesh Yadav. He said they have nicknamed him 'strongman'. When asked about Umesh, Shastri replied, "Again explosive with his power."

Other than Pujara and Umesh, he answered about the following cricketers:

KL Rahul- Exciting, exciting talent, Wriddhiman Saha- Cool, Rohit Sharma– Explosive, Murali Vijay- Calm, calculated, Ishant Sharma- Hugely talented, I would say maturing at the right time, Ajinkya Rahane- Nice boy, Ravichandran Ashwin- The astronaut, very intelligent, Jaspreet Bumrah- Very sensitive, Shikhar Dhawan- Gabbar, Ravindra Jadeja– Typical Rajput; you know warrior, Bhuvneshwar Kumar- The silent assassin, Mohammad Shami- Power, strength, Hardik Pandya- Mercurial, Parthiv Patel- A little man who punches above his weight and last but not the least, Indian skipper, Virat Kohli- In your face.
.
Shastri had also talked about his equation with Virat. He said, "Equation is great. We are similar personalities like you mentioned. There is an element of trust in our relationship. We are both strong-minded and both play to win at all costs. We play to win. We don’t go there to do time-pass. This is not a team that is out there to fill up the numbers. We want to compete. We want to take the game forward. He is pretty similar in his mindset when it comes to that and he is in your face kind of character. With Virat Kohli what you see is what you get."
