Virat Kohli and Mohammad Amir share a friendly relationship

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma got married on December 11 in a private ceremony in Tuscany, Italy. The event was an extremely private one with only families of both celebrities and close friends attending in Italy.

Their marriage put rest to all speculations about when Virat and Anushka will tie the knot and now the two can claim to be the power couple of India.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma received wishes and blessing from both cricket fraternity and Bollywood. Kohli also received wishes from across the border with former Pakistani captain Shahid Afridi sharing his blessings on Twitter.

Now Pakistani fast bowler Mohammad Amir also wished Virat Kohli on his marriage. Currently Amir is playing for Maratha Arabians in the T-10 League and he said "I'm so happy for him. I also congratulated him and I wish him in his life's new innings. Like he made a name for himself in cricket, I wish and pray to Allah that he is successful in his new life and Allah gives both of them a good life and all the happiness. I also pray Allah protects them from evil eyes. When a lot of eyes are on you, a lot of people's evil eyes could be on you. But I pray that Allah helps them in this new journey.

Amir tweeted his wishes to Kohli:

Virat Kohli and Mohd Amir share mutual admiration for each other, as Kohli gifted Amir a bat, before the World T20 2016 match between the two countries. India won that match thanks to Kohli. But Amir returned the favor by routing India in the CT 2017 finals.

Yet the friendship among the two talented cricketers continues to blossom, despite the political tension between the two nations are keeping India and Pakistan from playing each other on bilateral basis.
