Rohit Sharma led India from the front in a do-or-die enocunter against Sri Lanka at Mohali. The visitors had 1-0 lead ahead of the second encounter.

After a humiliating loss at Dharamshala, Indian team's morale must have gone down, but it didn't look in the 2nd ODI with their stunning performance, especially batting.

Rohit, who is playing his first series in international cricket as a captain made it a memorable one by scoring his third double hundred.

While others struggle for even one double hundred, the Mumbai lad has three to his name. Rohit's innings was hailed by cricketers and fans from all around the cricketing world.

Indian head coach Ravi Shastri was thrilled with the innings too. The man who gave voice to the first double century in ODI cricket, tweeted on the occasion and called it a 'full paisa vasool' (full entertainment package) innings.

In his tweet, Shastri wrote, “Stunning innings. It was Rohit Paisa Vasool Shaaaaarma all the way. Way to go boy @ImRo45 #TeamIndia #INDvSL #RohitSharma.”

Rohit Sharma's 208* had 13 boundaries and 12 huge sixes. Rohit's first double ton (209) was against Australia at Bengaluru in 2013. The second one was a big one by Sharma. He scored a still record 264 at Eden Gardens three years ago against Sri Lanka at Eden Gardens.
