Ranji Trophy 2017-18: Indore to host the finale

Ranji Trophy final will be played between December 29 and January 2.

The Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore is all set to host to the final of the Ranji Trophy of the season 2017-18, which is scheduled to be played between December 29 and January 2.

The two semifinals of the Ranji Trophy will be played from December 17, between Karnataka and Vidarbha at Kolkata, and Delhi vs Bengal at Pune. While the winner of the semifinals will take on each other in Indore to clinch the title of the Ranji Trophy 2017-18.

This is the second successive year when Indore hosts final of India's domestic First-Class tournament, in the last season, Gujarat claimed a historic title at the Holkar Stadium after beating 41-time champions Mumbai by five wickets.

On Wednesday, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed that Indore- Madhya Pradesh city will host the final, while the Eden Gardens in Kolkata will host the first semifinal between Karnataka and Vidarbha, while Pune will host the second semifinal between Delhi and Bengal.

The Indian Cricket Board also confirmed that the all the matches will have live telecast.
