Former Royal Challenger Bangalore (RCB) owner and on-the-run businessman Vijay Mallya has come out with a shocking revelation.

The utterance is about the reason why he left India and went to the UK. While many call him 'Bhagoda' for leaving India because they think he doesn't want to repay the loans, Mallya disclosed the actual reason.

In a chat with Farzi Times on Diwali, Mallya said RCB captain Virat Kohli forcefully made him leave India when he suggested to him that he should pick an English cricketer over Varun Aaron in the auctions back in 2016.

Mallya is sad that there is no cricketer from the Maldives or he would have definitely backed him over an Indian cricketer to have a mini-holiday there. He added it's also a long time since he last visited the beautiful beach heaven.

The industrialist made a more shocking revelation in his chat with Farzi Times. He went on to add that when Virat joined RCB he wanted him to change the name of 'Kingfisher' to 'Peacock'. But that was after an IPL after-party so Mallya didn't take Virat seriously.

He didn't stop there, Mallya continued and said Kohli was the only one who called his son 'Siddarth' and not 'Sid'. He was impressed with that. When we asked, Sid who?

He replied I can't comment on Siddhu, we have hardly interacted. That's when our interviewer realized it's time to conclude the interview as Mallya was already on a Kingfisher airplane.
