Afghanistan batsmen Mohammad Nabi and Najibullah Zadran smashed seven consecutive sixes off seven deliveries against Zimbabwe. It was the second T20I of the tri-nation series in which Afghanistan posted 197/5 batting first.
Zadran was their top scorer with 69* off 30 balls. He and Nabi toyed with Zimbabwe bowlers during the 17th and 18th over. Tendai Chatara bowled the 17th over when he was smashed for four back-to-back sixes by Nabi. They took 26 overs in the over.
In the next over, bowled by Neville Madziva, Zadran continued the carnage and smashed three sixes in a row which made it seven back-to-back sixes. They scored 107 runs together for the fifth wicket which changed the game. In reply, Zimbabwe could only add 169/7 and lost the match by 28 runs.
