Afghanistan team became the joint quickest to win their first two Tests, as they crushed Bangladesh in their own backyard by 224 runs in the one-off Test at Chattogram on September 9. Rashid Khan starred with the ball, picking 11 wickets and scoring 51 and 24 in the two innings in his debut as Afghanistan captain.

Rahmat Shah, who fell tantalizingly close to a century against Ireland a few months back, didn’t waste the opportunity this time and became the first Test centurion for Afghanistan and he was well supported by Asghar Afghan who scored two fifties in the match including a score of 90. However, on a pitch that was made to help the Bangladesh spinners, the Afghani bowlers reigned supreme.

Zahir Khan helped Rashid a lot in the second innings, as they were looking to pick 4 wickets in around 18 overs to register a win. They did manage to do that to give their country a huge moment to cheer and celebrate and Afghanistan Cricket Board Chief Executive Shafiq Stanikzai shared a video of how kids danced as Afghanistan team won the Test.
