India will play Sri Lanka a 3-match T20I series starting from 20th December. We will be watching some new face in the Indian team when they will take on Sri Lanka in Cuttack.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) earlier this month had announced the Indian squad for upcoming three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka paving way for several youngsters including Deepak Hooda, Basil Thampi, and Washington Sundar getting their maiden call-up.

The BCCI has rested is marquee players from the T20Is and have handed three cricketers their maiden call with Jaydev Unadkat returning to the side after a gap of four years.

Mohammad Siraj will be seen again in the blue jersey. He made his debut for India against New Zealand on 4 November 2017, taking the wicket of Kane Williamson, finishing with figures of 1 wicket for 53 runs from four overs.

Today, the official Twitter handle of India's cricket board shared a video in which the three new pacers -- Unadkat, Thampi and Siraj -- were seen bowling in the nets. India's head coach Ravi Shastri was also there keeping an eye on his bowlers.

Here's the video:

Tamil Nadu allrounder Washington, who got his maiden call for India played in the second ODI in the recently concluded series. The 18-year-old Chennai cricketer was tipped to make the cut for the Australia T20 series but he missed out after failing to clear the Yo-Yo test in October. However, he cleared the Yo-Yo test at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru this year.
