There are only a few players who managed to lure the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises in the season 12 auction. Franchises didn't show much interest in all players because of limited slots available and less money in the purse. But there were cricketers who made franchises not care about their purse while going for them. Franchises are looking for value for money and they found it in the uncap rising Indian players.

Here is the full list of players with their buyer (if any):

Set 5: Spinners

1. Rahul Sharma (Unsold at a base price of 50 lakh)
Rahul failed to get a buyer in the auction again this year despite a low base price. The leg-spinner last played IPL in 2015 for Chennai Super Kings.

2. Adam Zampa (Unsold at a base price of 1 crore)
Bad news for Zampa again as no one showed interest in the 26-year-old Australian leggie. He was part of only two IPL seasons, both for Rising Pune Supergiants in 2016 & 2017.

3. Khary Pierre (Unsold at a base price of 50 lakh)
Pierre must be disappointed after no franchise bid for him. He made his T20I debut for the West Indies against India on 4 November this year. Khary was adjudged the man-of-the-match for his 3 for 29 in the Caribbean Premier League 2018 final for Trinbago Knight Riders.

4. Fawad Ahmed (Unsold at a base price of 50 lakh)
The cousin of Pakistan spinner Yasir Shah wasn't in franchises' list of players to buy. Ahmed has been a regular member of Australia's Big Bash League since 2012.

Set 6: Uncapped batsman

1. Karnataka's Devdutt Padikkal enters at 20 lakh and found Royal Challengers Bangalore as his buyer at the base price.

2. Manan Vohra couldn't get a buyer at a base price: 20 lakh.

3. Sachin Baby remained unsold for 20 lakh.

4, Maharashtra batsman Ankit Bawne failed to get a buyer even at a base price of just 20 lakh.

5. Punjab batsman Anmolpreet Singh started with a base price of 20 lakh, Kings XI Punjab and Mumbai Indians engage in a bidding war. But in the end, Mumbai Indians got him for 80 lakh.

6. Armaan Jaffer remained unsold at base price of 20 lakh. He is the nephew of India's domestic cricket great Wasim Jaffer.

7. Uttar Pradesh captain Akshdeep Nath got no one bidding for him at the base price of 20 lakh.

Set 7: Uncapped allrounders

8. Sarfaraz Khan attracted Delhi Capitals and Kings XI Punjab at 20 lakh. He was sold to KXIP for 25 lakh after Delhi gave up the bidding.

9. Ayush Badoni, India's Under-19 Asia Cup in Bangladesh this year, remained unsold for 20 lakh.

10. Akshadeep Nath at 20 lakh was unsold after he found no bidder.

11. Shivam Dube, who has hit five sixes in an over twice this year, got opening bidding from Delhi at a base price of 20 lakh. Later, Royal Challengers Bangalore joined the party with the bid over 1 crore. Out of nowhere, Mumbai stepped in. It was an intense battle for the Mumbai all-rounder and in the end, the 25-year-old was sold to RCB for 5 crores.

12. The mystery spinner from Tamil Nadu Varun Chakravarthy managed to spark a bidding war. A base price of 20 lakh was taken over 4 crores after franchises like Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, and Kings XI Punjab showed interest. He was sold for a whopping 8.2 crore to KXIP.

13. Jalaj Saxena remained unsold at 20 lakh.
