MOHAMMAD AMIR
One of the funniest runouts in cricket happened with Pakistani batsman Mohammad Amir in the 3rd Test match between Pakistan-West Indies at Sharjah.
Amir hit Devendra Bishoo towards long-on and was admiring his shot while staying in the crease. He and partner Wahab Riaz had hoped that the ball would reach the boundary, but West Indian fielder Roston Chase, gave the ball a hard chase and stopped the ball short of the boundary and threw it towards the bowling end.
Amir was caught in his own world in the middle of the pitch and desperately tried to make the crease, losing his bat in the process, but was run out.
