5 records that Virat ‘King’ Kohli might possibly break in coming future

These are the five records that Virat Kohli can break in international cricket in near future.

Most runs in T20 Internationals
Current record holder: Martin Guptill (NZ- 2271 runs)

Martin Guptill currently holds the record for most runs in T20I cricketNew Zealand’s Martin Guptill currently holds the record of most runs in T20Is with 2271 runs. He is followed by his countryman Brendon McCullum (2140 runs), Shoaib Malik of Pakistan (2121 runs) and Virat Kohli (2102 runs).

Kohli is just 169 runs adrift of the record currently held by Guptill. McCullum has retired from international cricket and at 36 years old, Malik may also play just a couple of years more. This means that Virat Kohli may very well become the holder of the record for most runs in T20Is.

Virat Kohli has more than 2100 runs in 62 matches in T20I format | GettyKohli has played 62 matches and has scored the runs at an average of 48.88 with a strike rate of 136.22 and if he keeps going at that rate, Kohli will definitely end up as the highest run-getter in T20I cricket as well, if he continues to manage his workload and play all the three formats for some overs to come in future.
