Rahul Tripathi's unbeaten 80
Rahul Tripathi played a very important role in building a comparative score for the Rajasthan Royals. The right-hand opener scored an unbeaten 80 to take his team to a total of 164. Rahul even scored his first half-century of the season. It was brilliant to watch an uncapped Indian player batting so well.

After Umesh Yadav had struck early by sending pinch-hitter Jofra Archer back to the pavilion, it was Ajinkya Rahane and Rahul Tripathi who revived the things for the host.

Klaasen's comeback cameo

Heinrich Klaasen the wicket-keeper batsman came in to bat at number 5 to play a pivotal cameo at the end of the innings. Heinrich Klaasen was called back in the squad after Royal's Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes left for their clash against Pakistan later this month.

Klaasen scored crucial 32 for his side taking the host team to a total of 164. Klaasen's inclusion worked for RR as he chipped in with a cameo. The wicketkeeper was also involved in denting RCB with three stumpings and one important catch of Sarfaraz Khan.

De Villiers playing a lone hand in RCB's chase
Royal Challengers lost both their openers early while chasing a target of 165. It was Ab De Villers who scored a yet another fighting half-century to support RCB's chase over Rajasthan Royals. The latter hammered a well fought 53 which was never too enough for the visitors.

AB de Villiers kept RCB's hopes alive with a half-century but Gopal destroyed RCB's hopes by getting rid of de Villiers in his final over. It looked so difficult for RCB once the Superman was back in the pavilion.

Shreyas Gopal's match-winning spell
Shreyas Gopal left Royal Challengers Bangalore totally impassive with his 4-for. Shreyas took 4 wickets after just conceding 16 runs off his 4 overs spell. That was some marvellous bowling effort by Shreyas Gopal in a knock-out match like this.

Shreyas kept his nerves to bowl such efficiently in the match, he did not only knock out RCB out of the IPL but also gave Rajasthan a heads up for qualifying in the playoffs.
