India Women and South Africa Women faced each other in the third T20I match of the five match series.

This match was been televised unlike the first two T20Is and Dane van Niekerk elected to field first after winning the toss. Her decision proved correct as Mithali Raj was dismissed for a duck by Kapp. Smriti Mandhana (37 in 24 balls with 5 fours and 1 six) and captain Harmanpreet Kaur (48 off 30 balls with 6 fours and 2 sixes) added 55 runs for the second wicket. Veda Krishnamurthy also hit 23 in 14 balls with 4 fours.

South Africa Women needed to win this match to stay alive in the series. Though Lizelle Lee got out for 5 runs to Pooja Vastrakar; Dane van Niekerk (26) and Sune Luus (41) built a partnership. Then Mignon du Preez (20) added 50 runs with Sune Luus.

However the finishing touches were given by Chloe Tryon, as she smashed Anuja Patil for boundaries regularly and hit 34 in just 15 balls with 2 sixes and 4 fours and ensured that South Africa won their first T20I against India Women and also stay alive in the five match series with two games to go.

South Africa Women won the match by 5 wickets with an over to spare. Shabnim Ismail won the Player of the Match award for her five wicket haul.
