Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have tied the knot on the morning of 11th December in South Italy at a resort called Borgo Finocchieto. The Actor and the cricketer flew to Europe on 8th December with both their families and Anushka Sharma's family priest.

India's favorite celebrity couple have finally married each other and put an end to all the speculations and rumors of their marriage. As per reports are to be believed they had to marry at the weekend but the news suddenly came up to crack the internet already.

The couple was last spotted at cricketer Zaheer Khan's wedding with actress Sagarika Ghatke. Virat and Anushka have been dating each other for a while, they have often posted messages on social media.

In 2014, when Anushka was being asked about her wedding plan she had uttered she would like to have a traditional wedding and close to nature. After shooting a commercial for shampoo advertisement in 2013 the duo has been on media's deck.

The priest of Anushka Sharma's family agreed to zero in on a December wedding with both the couple keeping it a secret from everyone, as few people were invited to the marriage including Virat's childhood coach.

Both the couple have given us enough relationship goals until now, recently they were seen together in Manyavar's advertisement in which they were seen making promises to each other for the commercial advertisement.

This is not for the first time cricketers have married Bollywood actors, earlier it was Yuvraj Singh which hooked up with Hazel Keech in 2016 and Zaheer Khan tying knot with Sagarika Ghatke recently.

Anushka Sharma has proved to be lady luck for the cricketer as when Virat Kohli was appointed the test Captain of India she was with him at Melbourne which came out to be a very special moment in his career and at the time of Mohali too when he was appointed as the full-time Indian Captain.

Even at the show of Breakfast with Champions featuring Gaurav Kapoor, Virat Kohli yet again left no chance praising his wife Anushka Sharma, he said the player I am today is all because of her with telling me how to be patient and she has also told me how to be a better gentleman and most importantly an honest human being.

There will be two receptions held for Virat and Anushka's wedding one in Delhi and another in Mumbai where other celebrities and cricketers would be invited for the same.The duo will bring up their New Year in South Africa due to India's series lined up next year where Virat will be back as the skipper and Anushka Sharma will fly back to India for her next movie with Shah Rukh Khan.
