Circle of Cricket: Renewed, Refreshed, Rebranded

The new website went live from 8th December.

Old Circle of Cricket Logo

Circle of Cricket under the umbrella of  TSD  10 years ago started out as a Facebook page garnering the attention of cricket fans all across India and abroad. Over the course of time, Circle of Cricket expanded its vision and horizon and became a brand with over 26 million followers across different digital platforms.  COC delved into different segments including content, player interaction, fan interaction, trending videos, fan polls, live Facebook session and expert interviews.

One of the other key developments for COC over time has been getting the rights of over 50 India international cricketers and getting the digital rights of IPL teams like Delhi Daredevils and Kings XI Punjab. COC attracts 80 percent of its audience via social media generating over XXX amount of revenue annually.

Also one of the most important factors behind going up the ranks quickly in recent time is because of its age group amongst its followers. It attracts an age group between 18 to 34, cultivating proficiently to an audience who wants to get cricket news at their fingertips in a jiffy. Our followers are internet savvy and what circle of cricket dies very well is it targets the essence and the thoughts of its followers.

New Circle of Cricket Logo.Coming down to the new website design, the new COC website gives a refreshing look with distinctively designed sections. The various sections and subsections have been very specifically and categorically highlighted. There are a total of eight major sections in the main timeline of the website or as its called the header. As we scroll down there are various subsections which we keep on changing based on the ongoing cricket tournaments and coverage.

The footer will give you information about various aspects of the website like About Us, Contact Us, Careers and much more.

Another important aspect of Circle of Cricket’s all-new website and its history is its concept of brand management. To start with, we handled the official social media pages and handles of celebrity cricketers like Virender Sehwag and Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The recent success of the Indian Women’s team has prompted us to get central contracts with Indian women cricketers. We have been successful in roping in names like Smriti Mandhana, Veda Krishnamurthy and Harmanpreet Kaur. In the process, we are also helping them to enlarge their fame and popularity.

Speaking of brand management, our recent participation in the Global Sports Business Show in November 2017 in Mumbai has helped us increase our reach and popularity by leaps and bounds. Our representatives  Umesh Lakhmani and Ishan Mahal Yadav gave a detailed insight into the different changes which the new website brought along with it and the new features to look forward to.

Finally after over two to three months of hard work the entire Circle of Cricket team composing of 20 to 25 members including writers, editors, designers, website developers have worked day in and day out behind the finished product of the new Circle of Cricket logo and the website.  The journey has been an inspiring one so far and we only are looking for more inspiration to keep up the good work.
