Virat Kohli | ScreengrabVirat Kohli is someone who wears his heart on his sleeve whenever he steps foot onto the cricket field. Be it an international game or a warm-up match or he's representing his franchise, the former India skipper gives it his all for his team.

Kohli also stands up for his teammates whenever they get bullied by the opposition players or any member of the crowd.

In the ongoing warm-up match between India and Leicestershire, the veteran batter gave a glimpse of his fierce character as he stood up for young pacer Kamlesh Nagarkoti.

During the third day of the match, Kohli was seen confronting someone in the crowd from the balcony. Apparently, someone from the crowd was disturbing Nagarkoti, who was fielding near the boundary line.

“I’ve been continuously asking for a photo. I came here after taking the day off from my office. So, I’ve been calling Nagarkoti to click a photo with me at least,” the fan told Kohli in Hindi.

To which, the 33-year-old replied, “He is here to play the match, and not to click photos.”
