Team India are slated to play the rescheduled fifth Test against England at Edgbaston from July 1. The visitors are leading the series 2-1 and would be looking to win or draw the Test to clinch the Pataudi Trophy.
India took an unassailable lead under the leadership of Virat Kohli last year but now they will be led by Rohit Sharma.
The Indian contingent has already arrived in England and begun their preparations for the one-off Test. They will also play a four-day warm-up game against Leicestershire from June 24.
Meanwhile, Rohit and his men are putting hard yards in the nets. Ahead of Tuesday’s (June 21) practice session, former India skipper Virat Kohli gave a pep talk in the team huddle.
The official Twitter account of Leicestershire County Cricket Club shared a video of Kohli addressing the team with the caption: “@imVkohli gives a ???????????????????????????????????????? team talk ahead of a busy day of preparations before @BCCI's Tour Match vs @leicsccc.”
