Team News:

• Lungisani Ngidi suffered a hamstring injury in the previous match and is ruled out for at least a week.      
• Dale Steyn has been ruled out for the entire tournament. Beuran Hendricks has been called in as his replacement. 
• Hashim Amla is expected to recover from his concussion and is likely to feature against India. 
• Kedar Jadhav started practising in the nets a few days ago. It is unclear if he is fully match-fit to feature against South Africa tomorrow.

• The Rose Bowl pitch is very batsman-friendly. If the opening batsmen are able to negotiate the early swing, a sizeable total may be in the offing for the batting side.  
• With their middle order not delivering, Amla and de Kock's opening partnership may hold the key for the Proteas in this match.
