PAK v SL 2019: Sri Lanka announces squad for the upcoming Pakistan Test series

The Test series will begin on December 11, 2019.

Angelo Mathews and Dinesh Chandimal were named in the Test squad for Pakistan seriesPakistan is scheduled to host Sri Lanka for a series of two Test matches under the ICC World Test Championship. This series will also mark the return of Test cricket in Pakistan after a long time, a decade to be exact.

Sri Lanka had earlier traveled for a series of 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is, which resulted in Pakistan winning the 50-over encounters and getting whitewashed by a second-string Sri Lankan team in the T20Is. Meanwhile, the first Test match will be played from 11th December in Rawalpindi and the second will begin from 19th December in Karachi.

The Sri Lankan cricket board announced the 16-man squad which was approved by the Minister of Education, Sports and Youth Affairs Hon. Dullas Alahapperuma. The team will leave for Pakistan on the 8th December 2019.
