WI v IND 2019: 5 memorable performances by Indian players at Sabina Park, Jamaica

India has won two Tests in Jamaica, losing six and drawing four, against West Indies.

India batted first and it was the no.4 batsman Dilip Sardesai who starred with an amazing 212 which was adorned by 17 fours and 1 six. As wickets fell around him, with Vanburn Holder picking 4/60; Sardesai looked rock solid and with help of Eknath Solkar’s 61 and Erapalli Prasanna’s 25, guided India to 387 runs.

It was an innings of grit and great technique that helped India fightback from a troublesome position of 66/5. Thanks to 4/65 from Prasanna and two wickets apiece from Bishan Bedi and three from S Venkataraghavan, India bowled out the opposition for 217 runs and forced them to follow-on.
