Women’s World T20: Aaron Finch gives best wishes to Australia women's team for final against England eves

Australia women's team is already a three-time World T20 champions.

Australian women's team will face England in the finalsAs the Australian eves prepare to take on England in a bid for a fourth Women’s World T20 title in the ongoing 2018 edition of the tournament; they have some support behind them in form of encouragement from Australia limited-overs captain Aaron Finch.

Meg Lanning led Australia defeated defending champions West Indies by 71 runs in a crushing performance, whereas England beat India to finalize a meeting in finals.

It's very exciting, Meg and Matt (Matthew Mott, the coach) have led that side really well, and the girls have played some great cricket. To get such a convincing win against a really dominant Windies side was really important going into that final against England,” Finch said.

They’ve obviously played a lot against each other – there’s been a great rivalry like in the men’s game. It’ll be an amazing game, and good luck to all the girls”, he said.

Aaron Finch said that Southern Stars have done a great job in the tournament and all of Australia will be proud of what the women’s side have achieved, even if they don’t win the final.

He said, “It’s been great (the way they’ve represented Australia). The style that they’ve gone about it, everyone in Australia should be pretty excited of what they’ve achieved. Regardless of the result tomorrow – it’ll be great if they can win, and we’ve full confidence they can do that – but they’ve been at the top of the game in all formats for such a long time now. It’s a real credit to all the girls and the coaches.”
