The Indian cricket team is having a great time in the ongoing ICC Women's World T20 in West Indies. The Women in Blue have won both their matches thus far. While Harmanpreet Kaur and company had registered a comprehensive 34-run victory over New Zealand in the tournament opener, they defeated arch-rivals Pakistan by seven wickets in the second clash.

With the confidence sky high, India will take on Ireland in its third Group B match on Thursday (November 15) and will look to win and secure their birth in the semi-finals of the marquee event.

Ahead of the match, Indian men's cricket captain Virat Kohli sent positive vibes for the women's team and started a campaign to cheer them up in the Caribbean.

Taking to Twitter, Kohli posted a video and captioned it as: "We're on our way to the semi-finals.. and it's time to back Team India to bring home the World Cup! #JerseyKnowsNoGender. I nominate @RishabPant777, @NSaina, @chetrisunil11 and all of you to join in. Wear your jerseys and strike the pose to cheer them on!"

Speaking in the 24-second lengthy clip, Kohli said: "I am super proud of our girls, wearing our colours and playing their hearts out. Representing your country and wearing this jersey is a proud moment. This jersey doesn't care who you are, where you from, what your gender is. Hold up your arm in support of Team India in the West Indies."

Indian women’s team is currently placed at the second spot in the points table. Having won all their three matches, the Meg Lanning-led Australian side is heading the points tally in Group B.
