England's Michael Vaughan hails Jemimah Rodrigues as a 'high class player'

Rodrigues smashed yet another half-century in the second match of 'The Hundred'.

Jemimah Rodrigues | TwitterIndia batter Jemimah Rodrigues who represents Northern Superchargers Women in the inaugural edition of ECB’s brainchild ‘The Hundred’, was praised by everyone after her superb knock of 92 not-out off just 43 deliveries against Welsh Fire Women.

Rodrigues has continued from where she had left off in the first match as she smashed yet another half-century, 60 runs to be precise off just 41 deliveries and helped her team make 149/7 in the second match of this 100-ball tournament.

Thanks to Jemimah’s knock, the Northern Superchargers Women won their second match of the tournament by 27 runs. The 20-year-old, who was also adjudged to be the Player of the Match, was praised yet again for her impressive performance.

Former England skipper Michael Vaughan who is known for being quite active on social media, took to Twitter and hailed the Indian batter for her superb knock.

Jemimah scored 60 runs off 41 deliveries, including ten boundaries at a strike rate of 146.34 as the Northern Superchargers ended up setting target of 150 and winning the match by 27 runs at Trent Bridge in Nottingham.
