India women's team dominated West Indies yet again in the second T20I of the ongoing five-match series, bringing up an easy ten-wicket win in St Lucia on Sunday (November 10) after having bamboozled the hosts in the first game.

All-rounder Deepti Sharma and opener Shafali Verma were the stand-out performers on the day for Indians; while Deepti bowled a fantastic spell of 4/10, Shafali blasted her way to a 35-ball 69 not out.

Though, it would be unfair not to mention the efforts of Shikha Pandey (1/18), Radha Yadav (1/20) and Pooja Vastrakar (1/23) who also did their job commendably with the ball.

West Indies could manage a total of just 103/7 in 20 overs with only Hayley Matthews (23) and Chedean Nation (32) going past the 20-run mark.

In the run-chase, following their record-breaking stand in the first game, Shafali and Smriti Mandhana (30*) batted with complete ease and helped India race past the modest target in less than 11 overs.

India went 2-0 up, and will be expected to take an unassailable lead in the five-match series on Thursday (November 14) in the third T20I.

Brief Scores:

West Indies women 103/7 in 20 overs (Chedean Nation 32; Deepti Sharma 4/10) lost to India women 104/0  in 10.3 overs (Shafali Verma 69*; Anisa Mohammed 0/14) by 10 wickets.
