Skipper Virat Kohli is set to travel to West Indies for the full tour, which includes 3 T20Is, 3 ODIs, and 2 Tests, beginning from 3 August.

Unlike earlier reports which suggested Virat Kohli will take a break, it seems he is eyeing to turn things around starting from the West Indies tour.

Hence, Kohli has informed selectors he will travel to the West Indies to participate in all forms of the game. Last month, it was reported that Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah would be rested for upcoming T20s and ODIs against West Indies.

Kohli had a non-stop campaign since India’s tour of Australia and New Zealand, he was rested for final 2 ODIs and T20I series against New Zealand, before he returned to take back the role of skipper in home ODI series against Australia.

After that Kohli led his sides in IPL and World Cup 2019.

India was one of the pre-tournament favorites and even topped the points tally in the round-robin, however, a loss against New Zealand in semi-final ended their campaign.

After World Cup heartbreak, India is ready to start afresh and leave behind distressing memories, against West Indies with 2 T20Is on August 3 and 4 in Florida, while the third one is scheduled on August 6 in Providence.

Providence will host the first ODI as well, before the 2nd and 3rd which are to be played at Port of Spain. The first test is scheduled from August 22-26 in North Sound, while the 2nd one from August 30 to September 3 in Kingston.
