West Indies decimated England by 7 wickets in the fifth and final ODI at Darren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, St Lucia and leveled the five-match ODI series 2-2.

On a tricky surface captain Jason Holder won the toss and opted to bowl first and pacer Sheldon Cottrell and Holder himself gave a good start to their team by removing Jonny Bairstow and Joe Root respectively inside four overs.

Alex Hales and captain Morgan tried to rebuild the innings but Carlos Brathwaite broke this stand and sent both Hales and Morgan back to the pavilion. Later it was Oshane Thomas' turn to taste England batsman on this bouncy track and he not only troubled them but also finished with a five wickets haul in his five overs spell and England lost their last 5 wickets for just 2 runs and bowled out for a mere score of 113 runs. 

In the 114 runs chase in-form Chris Gayle started playing his shots from the first ball itself and smashed all the English bowlers and brought up his fifty in just 19 balls and his 77 runs knock off just 27 balls including 9 big sixes helped West Indies to chase down the target in just 12.1 overs with the loss of three wickets.
