All-rounder Ben Stokes on Saturday, February 22 recorded a milestone that he wouldn't be proud of. Stokes became the first England bowler in two years to deliver a front foot no-ball during the 48th over of the second ODI against West Indies at Barbados.

This delivery bowled to the rampaging Shimron Hetmyer saw only one run being taken off it. Before Ashley Nurse faced the free-hit, which was later played straight to the mid-wicket region for another single.

This was a very rare occasion as it is after 11,000 deliveries that an England bowler had overstepped in the ODI format.

Actually, Stokes bowled his second no-ball of the day at that moment. He had earlier put one over the waist height as well. The free-hit had gone for a single even then with both Nurse and Hetmyer failing to capitalise on the opportunity.

Hetmyer went on to make an 83-ball 104*. He helped West Indies reach a fighting total of 289/6, which they eventually defended by 26 runs to level the series, 1-1. And the 22-year-old was later awarded "Player-of-the-Match" for his efforts.
