Cricket world saw another Mankading dismissal during the U19 Cricket World Cup quarter-final clash between Pakistan and Afghanistan on Friday. Afghanistan bowler Noor Ahmad ‘Mankaded’ Pakistan opener Mohammad Huraira when he was at non-striker end outside his crease.

Huraira, the man of the match, struck 64 off 76 balls as Pakistan comfortably chased down 190 to beat Afghanistan with 53 balls to spare.

The dismissal left the cricket fraternity divided into two groups again. While some cricket pundits felt the dismissal was absolutely fine, few raised their voice against this rule.

England James Anderson was among those who were upset with the dismissal. Anderson urged International Cricket Council (ICC)) and Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) to get rid of this rule.

"Can we sort out (remove) this law please @ICC  #MCC??," wrote Anderson. But little did he know, a savage response from R Ashwin is waiting for him.

Ashwin, who had triggered whole English cricket after mankading Jos Buttler in IPL 2019, replied to Anderson. "Law removal might need some deliberation!! A Shredder might do the trick for now????????????," wrote the Indian cricketer.

When Ashwin had mankaded Buttler, Anderson, in his protest, was seen shredding a picture of the India spinner. Here is the video:
