Veteran batsman Rohit Sharma on Wednesday (January 22) sent positive vibes for the India Under-19 team featuring in the Youth World Cup in South Africa.
Led by Priyam Garg, the defending champions have started their campaign with two thumping victories. While the Boys in Blue thrashed Sri Lanka by 90 runs in their tournament opener, they outclassed Japan by 10 wickets in the second game.

Taking to Twitter, Rohit, who has appeared in the 2006 edition of ICC Under-19 World Cup, wished all the best to Garg and company for the remaining campaign.
“Best wishes to the under-19 cricket team in South Africa. They are already off to a great start, hope they can defend the title and bring it back,” the Indian white-ball vice-captain tweeted.
Having secured four points from two games, the India Under-19 side are also leading the points table in Group A.
India Under-19 will take on New Zealand in their last group match in Bloemfontein on Friday (January 24).
