India had a decent start as Divyaansh Saxena (23) put on 69 runs with Yashasvi Jaiswal, who made 59 with 8 fours. Tilak Varma (46) and Priyam Garg (56) kept the runs going until Dhruv Jurel (52*) and Siddhesh Veer (44* in 27 balls) took the final total to 297/4. Sri Lankan bowlers shared the wickets with four of them picking one each.
