Women’s T20WC 2020: Heather Knight and Sarah Glenn help England rout Pakistan by 42 runs

Natalie Sciver made 36 runs | GettyThe 12th match of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Australia saw England take on Pakistan in Canberra. Pakistan captain Bismah Maroof won the toss and chose to field.

Heather Knight top-scored with 62 with 8 fours and 1 six, while Natalie Sciver made 36 and Fran Wilson made 22 runs. England conjured up 158/7 in 20 overs. Aiman Anwer of Pakistan picked 3/30, while Nida Dar took 2/43. Sarah Glenn picked 3/15 | GettyIn reply, Aliya Riyaz (41) and Javeria Khan (16) were the main scorers for Pakistan. Sarah Glenn picked 3/15 and Shrubsole (3/25) was the pick of England bowlers. Pakistan only managed 116 runs and lost the match by 42 runs.

Heather Knight was named Player of the Match.
